The New Holland Fair runs Wednesday, October 1st through Saturday, October 4th.  The Route 12/New Holland bus route will begin detouring on Tuesday, September 30 when Main Street will close for set-up at 11:00 AM.

The detour is as follows:  Detour will begin with the 10:30 AM trip on Tuesday morning.

Outbound:  Regular route to right on Custer Avenue to left on Jackson Street to left on Railroad Avenue to right on Main Street and the regular route to Yoder’s and Shady Maple.

Inbound:  (Reverse of outbound.)  Main Street to left on Railroad Avenue to right on Jackson Street to right on Custer Avenue to left on Main Street and regular route back to Lancaster.

The Parade is Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 PM but the parade route streets will be closed at 6:00 PM.  This will include Custer Avenue and Jackson Street, which necessitates an additional detour for the last three trips at 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM, and 6:00 PM.

Parade detour Outbound:

Regular route into New Holland to left on Mentzer Avenue to Diller Ave. to right on Conestoga Avenue left on Railroad Ave. right on Spruce St. right on Kinzer Ave. to left on Main Street  Rt. 23 and regular route to Yoder’s & Shady Maple

Parade detour Inbound:  The regular route to right on Kinzer Ave.to left on Spruce St. to left on Railroad Ave. to right on Conestoga Ave. to left on Mentzer Avenue to right on Main / Rt. 23 to regular route
