The Red Rose Transit Authority is currently accepting applications for a safe, courteous and reliable seasonal bus operator. An opening for a seasonal operator for the Millersville University Park City Xpress service is available. Position includes a four day work week; Friday through Monday for a total of 22.5 hours per week. Friday’s shift is 8:25am to 3:15pm, Saturday and Monday shifts are 1:40 p.m. to 6:25 p.m. and the Sunday shift is 12:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A starting rate of $15.85 per hour with rate increasing to $16.27 per hour after a 90 working day probation.
The ideal candidate will be at least 25 years of age with an excellent safety record. A CDL Class B license with air brake and passenger endorsements is also required. The individual must be able to relate well with the public and professional driving experience is preferred.
