Columbia “Thunder on the River” Car Show Detour: Route 17/Columbia (Saturday, June 21, 2025)

On Saturday, June 21, 2025 Route 17/Columbia will detour for the “Thunder on the River” car show event.

The following streets will be CLOSED from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

Locust St. from Front to 6th St.
2nd, 3rd, & 4th Streets between Walnut & Cherry.

All Route 17/Columbia trips from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM will detour as follows:

Outbound: Regular route to 4th and Cherry Sts, then Right on Cherry to Left on 8th to Right on Locust to Left on 9th and regular route to 3rd and Linden and/or Marietta.

Inbound: Departing Marietta and/or 3rd and Linden, follow 3rd to Left on Walnut to Right on Rt. 462/Lancaster Ave. to Right on Cherry to Left on 4th and the regular route back to Lancaster.
